What would be the most reliable Hand Gun to carry around in Vegas?

Hi, I recently moved from Australia to Vegas and I am loving it. I'm living off betting at the casinos and I'm going well. The only thing though is that i get home through a really long walk and as i get further away from the large casinos it seems to get rougher. I get scared cause sometimes i have a few thousand dollars on me in cash and i don't want to get mugged or killed. Gangs give me looks and I feel as if I'm helpless. So i was thinking about buying a handgun, so if you could recommend me one for under 150 bucks or even 200 that would be great. If you could supply me with any information about "illegal gun dealers", information about someone breaking into your property and laws against attacking them that would be great. Thanks
 
First of all, no one here will give you information on "illegal gun dealers" as it is...ILLEGAL. As far as a handgun for under 150 bucks, forget it, no such animal. Besides, guns are not allowed in casinos.

If you are worried about being mugged on your walk home, use some of those winnings and call a cab. Door to door vehicle service; Wow! What a concept!

If someone is on your property, call the cops. If someone breaks into your house and you have no avenue of escape, have a shotgun handy, dispatch them to their creator and then call the cops.
