To leave my bedroom door closed when I go out to cook my meal in the kitchen and turn my bedroom airconditioner off to keep the room cool and save on power. Then go back in the bedroom and close the door and turn the a/c on again.
OR
To open the bedroom door and turn off the airconditioner so it does not get too stuffy and then close the door and turn on the airconditioner when I finish cooking and eating my meal.
OR
Just leave the bedroom door closed and the a/c on so it will be cool all the time.
I realise it will save energy to turn the a/c off but it will have to work harder to cool down the room after it has got hot.
I live in Melbourne Australia and it is hot today.
