what would be the easiest engine to swap out on my ford f100 1964...

they only way it will bolt up to the trany and be right is to put the same motor back in that came out you can buy adaptor plats if you don't want to put the same motor back in if you dont know the motor size look on the by the hood release or on the under side of the hood if should say if not get the trany num of of it and your local parts store can look it up
 
...truck,without changing the transmition? i want to buy a crate motor and not have to purchase whole rear end out.just need to get it runnin again. i was thinking 289 or 302
