What would be the better computer for graphic arts?

I will be using a lot of demanding applications like Photoshop and Painter, and will need them open simultaneously.

These are the ones I found within my budget(up to $1300 with monitor):

Dell Studio XPS SX8100-2777NBC

-AMD Phenom™ II X6 six-core processor 1045T

-ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics

iMac
-Intel® Core™ i3 Processor
-4GB Memory
-500GB Hard Drive
-ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics

Out of these, which one would suit my purposes the best? Also, if you have another recommendation, let me know!
