What would be the best OS for moderate gaming and a media server?

I just built a computer for moderate gaming and a media server. I have four new games (Fallout 3, Tomb Raider: Underworld, CoD4, and GTA4) and good deal of music and videos. But I can't decide between XP Pro or Vista Ultimate.

Right now the system consists of 2.7Ghz AMD Dual Core, 4GB of RAM, +1TB of HDD Space, 1GB nvidia 9800 GT and eventually I want to add a tv turner card.

Any ideas?
