There are at least 10 different brands of motor oil on the market .. quaker, Valvoline, citco, pens oil, ect ; Whats the difference between them all?? Which one is the best for a ford f150?? Also what is the best type of oil filter on the market?? - Anybody that has any automotive experience I would like to hear from you.... Thank you for tips and advise ....:) :)

kelly, good one. Just pick one up and stick to it. Mobil 1 is the one for my truck!

been driving and work ing on car most of my life ive found none any better than the other just pick one and stick with that brand when you can any will be just fine and really any oil filter wil also work fram one of the most found any wheres and ive used most Valvoline and castrol

ok, Technically speaking, the right oil for your truck is in the manual. It states that you should be useing either castrol, or pennzoil, why do I say this, look at the technical data. It clearly shows to use WSSM21533 THIS IS THE CLEANING PROPERTIES for your engine, no other until you get up to 100,000 miles where it wont matter anymore, and I only use synthetic oil, it creates less strain on the starter, pistons, crankshaft, alternator.
