What would be good hiking shoes/boots?

That I can find at Dick's Sporting Goods either online or at the store. I want something that I could wear during the summer in about 80 Degree weather. It can also get wet so I want something water-proof/resistant. It won't be too harsh-I'm just planning on going and walking around in our woods and keeping journals/observations about animals and plants.

Thanks, I'm really new to this so I appreciate it.
Also, if it could double for hunting purposes in the fall and spring (50-65 degree weather) THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

I work in a hiking store in england, yorkshire so know what i'm talking about. unfortunately i don't know if these are available from dick's sporting goods. but they're good for what you want!
