What would be a well-balanced topic to discuss from the novel, "As I lay dying" by William Faulkner?

How about "Coping and Competence"? I. e., how do the Bundrens cope with Addies' death and burial, and how competent are they at doing so?

Another idea that appeals to me is "What's going to happen afterwards?" (Will the new Mrs. Bundren realize that Dewey Dell is pregnant and compel Lafe to marry her? How well will the family get along without Darl? Will the new Mrs. Bundren and Cora Tull become friends? Will Vardaman come to think of his stepmother as his mother?) However, this topic would depend mostly on conjecture, at best based on what we know of the characters already, and we know very little of the new Mrs. B. beyond the fact that she's "duck-shaped" and that she either was being courted by Anse while Addie was still alive or was willing to marry a man she had just met, who had just buried his previous wife.
