About sand and soil? This is a science experiment for preschoolers.. :/
What would be a good objective or concept that kids would learn if i talk

For preschoolers why don't you plant a bean in soil and a bean in sand and show them which one grows better over a week or so. Show them every day which matrix retains water better and which one is better to nourish the plant.
Ask them to feel soil and sand and tell what the difference is.
Ask them where they would see sand (beach) vs. where they would find soil (garden). Ask them if they have ever found a sample of either in the world.
Ask them what color differences they notice.
Ask them what kind of animal they could expect to see in the soil (worms-gummy worms are a nice visual aid here) or in the sand (crabs).
Kids are basic. Don't need to make it complicated!
