...and your situation unfairly? This happened to me at a group support meeting last week. A young girl, who was probably half my age, cast judgment, and she did not even know much about me or my life. She was acting like a bratty know-it-all. I never asked for her advice. This was supposed to be a SUPPORT group. I know she got a high from this uppity onslaught, which completely blindsided me. What would have been a good response? Btw, this was near the end of the meeting and the group moderator did or said nothing to intervene. Some of the people were there for the first time, and I believe they got the wrong impression from this girl.
