It's been a while since i last posted about my skin and iv been though a lot of different products/procedures but finally i think i can say... at the age of almost 23, i am pretty well free of acne! :jester:
Personally i think what worked was using Boots' variety of cleansing wipes, foam wash and day and night moisturizer, all with tea trea + witchhazel in them.

I had used moisturiser before but felt it clogged my pores too much and actually caused more acne than anything, but maybe i was wrong, well certainly these other moisturizers/gels or working anyway.

I have quite large pores especially on my nose and T zone (if thats what its called) and so i eventually figured that my skin got thirsty a lot of the time and that it needed feeding ;)

I put quite a bit of day moisturizer and nightime gel on my face to compensate for my pore size and it seems to work very well.

Also shaving was a bit of a nightmare for me as my skin is pretty sensative and so i always get a rash/spots when using razors or dry shaving...
my way around this is pretty unconventional. I only shave once a week (wednesday mornings) and when i do shave i use the sideburns section of my braun 8595 electric shaver!

Finally addressing another problem i had was to do with those dredded red marks!

I had IPL or Intense Pulsed Light (6) treatments done which hurt pretty bad (like having your face electricuted) but in the end after 3 months of treatment and 3 months of recovery as well as using those boots products at the same time, i have come out the other end looking 100% better

So my advice for ppl with acne is to make sure you cleanse, tone and moisturize preferably with natural products like the Boots range i use rather than other harsh products with acid in them (Proactiv - dont use  )

Oh and i almost forgot, something iv found recently is that drinking black tea (no milk or sugar) has kind of tightend my pores or something, its definately made a noticable difference since iv started drinking it to the appearance of my skin!

Well fingers crossed and touch wood i havent just jinxed myself for posting this and good luck to all you other guys with acne out there, believe me, i know how most of you feel, having had it for 8 years, It sucks donkey balls!

Just stick in there and have faith
