...receive a minor in Chemistry? Im currently in a CSU and attempting to double major (BA) in Social Science (discipline focused on Economic, History, Anthropology) while receiving a BS in Biology. Some of the classes for my BS in Bio could also be applied towards a minor in Chem. Im passing all my classes with at least a 3.0, I love all these subjects and am just curious about what people think.

What are some honest opinions, suggestions, and facts? I love Social Science, esp my focused disciplines. I love the physical sciences esp. Bio and Chem. I want to do all 3!!! Am I in over my head? If I am, I'll break my head because I WILL do them!

BTW, I would love to be a professor or maestro.
First of all, Im not doing it to impress any employers, I'm doing it for myself, for my own esteem. I dont understand how some only focus on the financial/economic part of degrees. Some people truly love what they study, and going to school for some of us is a joy and exciting and challenging.
And besides, if Im passing all my classes, why would there be anything lacking quality?

It is not the quantity but the quality. You need to focus on what you want to do. A double BS degree is impressive but it will not get you more money. An employer hiring you as a biologist is not going to pay you more because you also have a Social Science degree. Perhaps you are better off with a phD to teach.
