Its been nearly a year and a half since i assaulted someone with a knife whom before in the past threatened me and kept intimidating me to result to what happened. 3 times i walked away to prevent all this from happening. 1st time the dude followed me to somewhere i was minding my own business and was cussing me and wanted to fight me. I walke away.2nd time i went to him myself to try to squash any hate he had against me, that never worked well enough, he ended up flashing a machette in my face and i walked away AGAIN.
3rd time i saw him at a gas station once again minding my own business and he tried communicating in a disrespectful manner with me tryng to get m angry to do something and i walked away. 4th time i saw him near his home, so i decided to stop by to try to reason with him once again. I was in my car with my friend and we was on our way to a friends house just couple yards away, i should have kept going where i was going but since i always had heart for people.. that night i made a wrong decision. WHILE FOR THE 4TH TIME trying to reason with this dude (because i was tired of going places seeing him disrespecting me) Once again he was ignorant and wanted no peace.He spat on me and my friend in my car... it happened so fast.. i got so angry and pulled out my knife from the glove compartment ( i had it in there for fishing for that night, after the incident i still went fishing)... I came out the car and i cut the left side of his face up and like 2 minor cuts under his neck. ( I have a hospitol picture of his face bleeding if youd like to take a look). That night he went hositol and the next day he reprrted me to the police. Till this day i am on bail an its nearly over a year and a half and im still on bail. Can someone please tell me what charge the judge will slap on me? Its my first offense. Will the judge take any consideration of my part of the story? I been going counseling for my temper.. will that help me in court? He is in trouble with the law for serious drug offenses..will that benefit me in court? What you think the outcome of this whole situation will be?
