...from his pastor? Will you still vote for him if he is found to be lying, will you still say oh it doesn't matter he doesn't support him, will you still say his pastor and who he associates with for 20 years is not important. Is change simply enough?
What I am asking is if I say if there are more videos shown and one comes up with Obama on the video to be in church while his pastor is on one of these rants about race and attacking whites will you still give him a pass and say oh he lied but it doesn't matter. Because Obama said on TV he wasn't there ever for any of these kinds of comments about race and America even over 20 years.

His sheep will turn a blind eye to it, just like they have been. To me, it doesn't matter if there is proof of him standing in the same room on videotape during one of his rants. The facts remain that the minister said it and Obama is still in contact with him. Obama admits he was a close friend with the minister when the comments were made and he will continue to be friends with him now. That says to me that Obama wants us to just get over it and accept that he is friends with a racist. I wonder how many other racist friends he has?

As for the minister's comments, I can't believe how naive Americans, especially white Americans, are about what is actually preached and practiced inside of a black church. I have known and seen first hand how black ministers use their pulpits to spread the "hate whitey" rhetoric. I went to black church once with several black friends of mine. The minister was the head of the local chapter of the NAACP. When I went in, I though I was just going to have a church service with some friends. After the minister started with his "hate whitey" chants, I felt like no one in there was my friend. I had to leave because I felt so unsafe. The next time I saw the minister on the street, I aksed him why he hated me so much. He said that the white man was not allowed in his church.

I also went to another black church with a local youth group. There was a Sunday service and then a bar-b-cue afterwards. The service was loud and and there was very little conversation fo God. Instead the minister chose to speak about the drugs and violence in his neighborhood and how the local police weren't going to d anything about it because they didn't care if a few "them" got killed. Then at the bar-b-cue, the black children in the church group were given a tour and included in several games. The white kids were left alone and eventually we went dow to the beach together until it was time to go.
