What will happen if i het HIV befor i go to boot camp?

Like that one guy said, eventually you'll get a blood test and fail it, and you will be discharged.

Just think about your battle buddies. Imagine if you got shot, and your medic has to dig around in your wound trying to stop your bleeding. Don't risk transmitting HIV to other soldiers, please...

You cannot join with HIV, but if you are already IN the service and get the virus then you are permitted to stay and you hvae the option to get out.....please read some regs folks!

Blood tests are done as soon as you get to boot camp. If you test positive you'll be discharged right away.

You cannot join the military with HIV. You'll be found out after your blood work is processed at MEPS.
