What will a double major in economics and mathematics do?

Im currently an economics major (BS) with a math minor. Im considering turning the math minor into a major (BA). First, is it generally allowable to have a BS and a BA? Second, where will this combination lead me?

I suppose its worth noting I also would like to get at least a masters in economics.
