So i've been feeling pretty ill for a while now and doctors have been baffled as to what's causing my symptoms -
Feeling faint/light headed
Extreme malaise/fatigue
Abdominal pains, mainly below the ribs right side and lower right, sometimes radiating around the back. Stabbing/burning pains.
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Brain fog/confusion/short term memory loss etc
Numbness/tingling in arms/legs
Seizures/convulsions at night
Headaches
Drop foot
Flu like symptoms
I have been seeing doctors for 2 years now and have had many tests with nothing showing up. But I have now developed a bruise/rash on the lower right abdomen. My doctor referred to this as purpura and took some blood samples. She said she needed to check my liver and whether my blood was clotting correctly. She also asked me some questions pertaining to hepatitis. (like had i injected drugs, had unprotected sex etc) to which the answer was no.
The bruise/rash has been there for about 2 months now and is sort of a dull grey colour. What could cause this? I've done a bit of research and the only thing I came up with that matched my symptoms was leukemia, which i'm 99.9% certain I don't have.
Could this be a liver problem? Or an infection of some kind? Any advice greatly appreciated. And I know I shouldn't be looking for medical help on the internet but I've been signed off work for a year and am just trying to get some idea of what is wrong.
