What wildlife can be found on Paros and the Cyclades?

I'm trying to get into wildlife filmmaking, as my parents have a house on the east-side of Paros (an island in the Cyclades, in Greece) I thought it might be a good/fun idea to travel there for a month or so next summer and try and do some experimental filming, perhaps setting up a tent in the mountains? Any idea what the wildlife is like on the island as I've never really looked into it.

typical mediterranean life - lizards, goats, I think they have a pet pelican in Paros, although may have my wires crossed.
