What poet are you looking for? Are they a modern poet? etc.
I would go to the library and do some research. Don't trust the internet, as the site you might find their poetry on may have typos or incorrect interpretations.
I'm not sure if you're in college or high school, but ask your local or your school's librarian about alternate databases, in case you can't find your poets works in an actual book. Texts are the best way to go because they might have footnotes that will help you interpret the poem. (Footnotes are especially important if your poet is not modern)
