What watch do you wear? Part 2

Thanks Berties.

The pilot who was killed in that action was my nephew's wingman.

I know for certain only 50 were made. My nephew commissioned them.

Maybe it was me, but they wasn't interested in the slightest about helping me. Gave me yes and no answers and then just left me get on with it. Wasn't like they where busy.

Ernest Jones where great, had 2 girls and a guy helping me out, went through all the makers must of had 10k worth of watches out as well. Had a couple cups of coffee, they even asked if wanted anything to eat.

Lovely watches, had mine over ten years now.

What ever you do, don't walk home from the pub in the ice like I did last year and slip, smashing the hesalite and losing the bezel just when it needed a service. £600 later and it's as good as new

It shows it's worth that sort of effort though, as you put down a couple of thousand pound with them but walked out of the others, even though they probably sold the same watch

Customer service is worth a bit of effort.

Sorry for bumping an older thread! But thought I'd show some of my watches, including a new Casio Edifice. My watches arn't as flash as the Rolex's or Breitlings and their ilk, but I thought I'd share...

First my trusty Junghans. this is my everyday watch (though I never wear a watch to work). It's radio controlled and I love it.

Next up, my Tissot, a mechanical watch...

That blurry green thing in the background is my RC monster truck! heh heh...

I think some of the cost went on the box!

What about those people that wear their watches underneath their wrist?
I saw one on 'Come dine with me' the other night.
What the hell is that all about?
Maybe they're erabarrassed by them.

I read some opinions on another forum as well that winders put unnecessary mileage on watches as well. However it does save wear and tear on the crown thread so take your pick!

yip- mines does the same

she gets bored of me taking so long looking..... and after seeing the price of some of them, i think she gets worried that i get a little over excited and just well treat myself...... again

Cheers. It's hard to get a photo on the wrist that shows the real size, as it looks bigger there than in real life. Still a great watch, one of my favourites in fact, but I'm expecting a delivery soon and can't keep both
