it involved a man doing a series of scams (hustles) one was on a cruise where he bet he could take on 2 chess grandmasters at the same time in different rooms which he did by letting one go first in one game and then copying both moves each made so they were essentially playing each other unawares.
another was where he set up a counterfeit money making machine in his room then laid real money all over the place knowing the gangsters who broke into his room would assume it was what the machine could do and fund him to make some more.
