what was the sales tax on my Dodge Neon 2005?

In late June last year (2009), i bought that car. and paid around 200+ to 300+ in sales taxes. I cant truly remember what was the amount.

Could you please tell me how to calculate the right tax?
I bought the car for $5600. but they told me they tax by the higher of the book price or sales price.
