I like the question! Sounds entertaining enough to answer!
I was hosteling through Europe in 1987, and ended up in the Frankfurt train station (in Germany) for the night. I went to sleep on one of the benches there.
Next thing I knew, an elderly homeless woman was climbing on top of me, trying to kiss me. She was a classic: Old, toothless, clothed in rags, and smelling of all kinds of things you don't want on top of you. So I bench pressed her, said, "No!", and put her down on her feet next to me. She smiled, thanked me, waved, and wandered off.
Yep. "Weird" is definitely the term. And there's definitely something about Frankfurt. I also had a homeless man go through my backpack while I was out and steal all of my black clothing. He left my traveler's checks, contact lens stuff; anything that wasn't black. All he wanted was black clothing. How do I know it was a homeless man? On my way back to the hostel (before I'd discovered the theft) I saw a homeless man all in black with a huge garbage sack over his shoulder. He was so unusual I noticed him, and then found that I'd been robbed of all my black things.
Fun city.
