What was the minimum I had to of earnt to recieve the ASP?

I was in my final year of school last year, but worked casually (weekends, after school, holidays etc). I didn't earn over $11, 000 but I was recently told that this didn't matter, and I was still eligible for the $900. Also, I have deferred from Uni for the year, as I'm working full time to earn money. Will this effect anything? I have already filed a tax return from last year as well.
