It seems like it's been a long time since Ford has put turbos in any of it's American passenger vehicles (not counting trucks). Before EcoBoost, what was the last car(s) that had a stock turbo? The Mustang GT500 and Ford GT had superchargers, so they don't count. The 88-92 Probe GT comes to mind, as does the mid 1980's Mustang SVO, Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, and EXP Turbo Coupe. Has it really been 18 years since we we've seen a Ford Turbo? Did the early reliability problems scare them away for this long? The new EcoBoost turbos are much more advanced, hopefully they will stay around for awhile.
