oh man..i should probably shut up..but it's too funny!! it wasn't original, so i hope it doesn't count...it was britney spears...f**k! ah well..the first original cd i bought was blink-182 "take off your pants and jacket"....

"I came to f**k you up, I came to drag you down, I came around to tear your little world apart...and break your soul apart....."

my first CD was smash hits compilation i saved up for it with my sister - i was eight. my first CD album/single was britney. don't laugh. i was young and helpless.

the first ever cd i got was one from a cereal box and it had really old groups on it like the beautiful south and alishas attic. i dont listen to it anymore i just listen to my rock albums and kerrang cd.

First Single - 3 Lions by Baddiel, Skinner and The Lightening SeeRAB
First Album - Something like Californication be the Chillis

These were the first ones bought with my own money - not my parents' or through gifts or anything.

Man, I had no idea some of you guys were so young. Your first CD was American Idol? I watched the first finale of that cause my college roomate had it on. Anyways, mine was Counting Crows August and everything after.

ha ha ha ha ha ha oh my god yeah, I have them in my collection too. Im very erabarrassed to say that the main reason I bought their album was cos my bf at the time looked very much like Taylor, he was the middle one of the three... well thats irrelevant anyway LOL Im very pleased to say though that the bf (ex) now looks alot different :D

My family didn't have a cd player for many years, because we never had the money, so I think I was 15 before I bought my first cd. It was All Change by Cast, and at the time I loved it. I listened to it again on a nostalgia trip the other day, and it's still not bad.
