Just before last nights (27th September) screening of Scream 2 on Film 4, there was a short segment where a film was being discussed.
I only caught the last part, and it didn't say what the film was called, it looked rather interesting.
The guy discussing it was saying that "it intersects with contemporary fears" but that it was not a "monster movie".
I know this is totally obscure but it anyone can throw some light on it, I would be grateful.
