What was the cooking show sketch (possibly SNL, possibly Chevy Chase) in which the chef began with a host of ingredients, and went through baking a chicken by stuffing it with all sorts of things, placing it in the oven for a few seconds, removing it, taking out the stuffing, setting that aside, and throwing away the chicken, etc. (I remember him saying something like "And now you can discard the chicken"). He would also cover things in lard and mix it in with water, and just wound up with this disgusting looking plate of scraps that was swishing back and forth.
The point of the sketch was just constantly baiting and switching the audience into thinking that he was actually making something, when really he was just tossing food out and using the good ingredients to make the strange, non-food ingredients taste better or something.
This was not the Anal Retentive Chef -OR- the Dan Ackroyd Julia Childs Sketch.
I can't figure out how to find this answer on the internet, and I am going insane! Please help!
