Hello! I'm looking to buy a used car for under $3000. I've read a lot about cars in this price block, and, having looked at my local dealerships and Craigslist, I've been leaning towards buying a Civic. I've read that they're probably going to give me the most reliability and low cost maintenance. However, as I know little about differences/strengths among different yearly releases of the Civic, I wondered if any of the mechanical gurus or car aficionado would give me some guidance concerning what models I should be looking for. Obviously, this assumes all other things being equal (say, about 130,000 miles), would you have a target year I should be looking for during my car hunt? Any particular models stand out?
