I need to know as much as I possibly can on this subject of the matter. Details please. Thank you very much!

Webster's conclusion about slavery was this:"I shall concur, therefore, in no act, no measure, no menace, no indication of purpose, which shall interfere or threaten to interfere with the exclusive authority of the several States over the subject of slavery as it exists within their respective limits. All this appears to me to be matter of plain and imperative duty.
Lincoln rebutted: Using the Declaration of independance "All men are created equal clause" as a vantage point while countering Webster's preposterous yet amusing 15 hour long speech to the Congress. Webster was longer winded than Senator Byrd.
