I Say its Chicago, IL. Other than the 1990's Bulls, the 1985 Bears and the 2005 White Sox, all of Chicago's major pro Sports teams seem to either be really bad or just flat out choke when its time to play your best. The Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks have the two longest championship Droughs in their respective Sports *MLB and NHL* The Bears football team despite having a good defense, is not committed to spending any money in improving their offense. The Bulls after winning their 6th Championship went from Champs to Chumps, and despite having D. Rose, the Bulls still look like a bad team for many years to come.
The Cubs have not won anything in 100 years despite making the playoffs 2 consecutive years in a row, but they have only won 1 playoff series in 100 Years *2003 NLDS vs Atlanta* and despite having one of the best lineups in the NL, they have a 1 and a billion chance at winning the World Series this year.
The Blackhawks are one of the NHL's Orignal 6 teams but of those 6 teams, they were considered to be the worst team. They have the longest championship drought in the NHL, for the longest time their games were blacked out and the ownership simply didnt care. Even though the team is in a "revival" mode with games being on TV and some young talented players, the Blackhawks are guranteed to miss the playoffs for the 9th straight season.
Chicago is full of high taxes, corrupt goverment and horrible owners who treat their teams as if they are nothing more than big tax writeoffs. I thought this was the third largest sports market in the USA but it seems that our teams are getting treated as if they are at the bottom. But even the small market teams win a championship once in a blue moon.
