What UK cough medicine gives you a high?

Someone in America told me that they have once or twice drunk cough medicine to kind of like get high on it. I wanted to try the same thing here in the UK, but I am very nervous of getting the wrong sort of cough medicine and killing myself. I am being serious - I am really worried. I don't want to harm myself, I just want to see what the experience is like - try it out once and know that I have done it. Anyone in the UK ever tried it? If so, give me detailed basics. What cough medicine, how much do I drink, how fast do I drink it and should I have a friend around - are there likely to be any complications? The guy in America used to drink cough medicine that was called ROBITUSSIN, which I don't think you can get here in England. According to my notes, he drank two bottles of that, but I don't know how big the bottles were. for the record, I am 34 years old, not a stupid teenager. some of you probably regard this as a stupid thing to do, and normally I would agree with you, but I have come to the realisation that I am too serious, too responsible and its actually ok to do something really retarded like this as long as you don't don't make a habit of doing retarded things. Any goodie two shoes, wanting to post, don't bother, for once in my life I want to be irresponsible and stupid, rather than be sensible. Ps. I did research online, but I am not comfortable with the vague details on the Internet. I want someone who has actually tried this to tell me exactly which cough mixture and how much to safely drink as I don't want to end up in hospital ! Thank you for all answers.
