my engine blew out and i wanted to replace it, but i know that the engine i replace it with doesn't have to be exactly like the one i'm removing. i know i could either put a better one in or one just like it. it's a v8 5.0L and that's all i know. i'm basically wondering what are my options as far as types of engines and if other types of car engines (chevy, ford, gmc etc etc) can also fit inside. i love my car and i dont want to give up on it unless i have too. but after a new engine, among other things, it'll be like new
