...outside the cell membrane? A. Polar
B. Non Polar
C. Large
D. Hydrophobic
E. Amphipathic
I know that in order for a transmembrane protein to span the phospholipid bilayer, it must be amphipathic, which means the protein must have both polar and nonpolar ends. I also know that a phospholipid has a polar hydrophilic head.
Based upon what I know, I was thinking the answer was A. If that is correct, let me know. If not, please help in the right direction. Thank you!
