What type of tests you get done on your first prenatal appointment?

I know that they do a pap smear but I don't know what the doctor looks for and I also don't know what type of blood tests they do with the blood they draw on the very first appointment. Do they test glucose? Cell blood count? I am just curious..thanks
 
Usually the pap smear, test for STDS from your cultures as well. They do a blood test to check your hormone levels, and also use blood to test for other STDS (AIDS for example), I *think* they check your blood type at that time, just to be sure. If you aren't sure what all they are testing, you can always ask. They have to tell you what tests they are doing. :)
