I plan to create part of the human body, the torso, it will have to be life size and it will be of a pregnant woman. I have an idea of how to make the main part - i thought a load of plastercine or clay, but would i have to make it so i can pour something into it rather than the exterior shape? The main question is what should i use, and how. i thought of some sort of latex rubber, that will set and create a skin and flesh like effect, a couple of cm thick in order to make it look real. Also, somethng that can be spray painted or painted on to look like skin colour. I saw Ron Mueck who create those large art sculptures of human head, old man and a baby, something similar. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks.
