that is a question that really depends on what type of fish u are targeting and the technique u are using to catch that fish.
i use either a quantum or a browning in spincast to target panfish,mostly baitcast when targeting bass,i like pitching and flipping a jig,unless i am downsizing my bait in the middle of summer to a 4" worm or 1/4 oz jig,then i go with a spincast...........as far as catfishing goes i prefer a saltwater reel,penn to be exact,i like these for the gearing and the amount of big line i can put on them.
as far as my favorite is concerned.........i prefer to catfish more than other types of fishing,so i will have to say the penns are my favorite
