what type of paint can I use to paint on a plastic tote container x 25 ?

what type of paint can I use to paint on a plastic tote container? I am painting 25 of them, so I can not afford those small can on fusion spray paint that is made to paint on plastic. I need to buy large amount of paint to keep cost down. I saw on other forums, I can use acrylic paint and/or solvent paint prep with primer of course, which one will work the best I do not want it to easily crack.
