What type of grooming items should I use?!!?

I am grooming people's dogs and I just need some tips like:

What type of brush (that isn't expensive) should I use for:
long haired and short haired dogs
What type of shampoo is really good(that is not expensive)
How should I wash a:
big and small dog?
And what type of tub or bucket should i use.

If you are just washing dogs for a summer job then just get a good slicker brush and a really good tearless hypoallergenic shampoo. You can use anything from a kiddie pool to your own bath tub. Just be sure not to freeze the dogs with cold hose water.

You should always brush out a dog before washing them. If they have any tangles they will get tighten when wet and too difficult to get out. You wash a big dog the same as a little one. Avoid getting water in their ears and rinse off the soap well! Good luck.
