Saw this in a shop today. The shop didn't know what it was, as it had arrived as a stowaway in a shipment of something else from their supplier.
Very small and/or young fish, less than half an inch in length.
Body was translucent white with identical blotches of color on both sides of its body; light red at the head, followed by almost florescent green, then bluish-purple, and just before the tail, a white ring with a blue center. The tail was a a reddish/yellowish orange, and appeared to be like a swordtail, only reversed (the "sword" being on the top rather than the bottom).
It's a cool-looking fish, I just wish I knew what it is. My first thought was some sort of guppy, but I've never seen a guppy with those colors or color pattern, nor with the sort of reversed-sword tail that this thing has.
Any ideas?
