I'd prefer answers from professionals, or people who have much experience or knowledge with this stuff because im extremely confused and need some advice.
So, for sure, i want to be a doctor of some sort. Yes, i have the motivation. BUT I really do not know exactly wich field to pursue, and i REALLY would like to decide ahead of time.
First off, should i aim for a M.D. or a D.O.?? I really like the idea of how OrthoPathic doctors treat the body as a whole, but is it toughter getting a D.O?? Or in less demand?
And some fields of study I've looked at"
Anesthesiology-But, I decided i dont necessarily want to be in that intense of an enviornment, or close to surgeries, etc.
General Practicioner- Definately reasonable, but for twelve years in schooll im not sure because It seems like alot of people would be trying to become a GP
Chiropracter- This route seemed pretty great, considering it is about years of school (As opposed to twelve), and you still make about 120,000 average. BUT! Ive been reading lately that their really not in high demand, and that could be an issue.
My aim is above 100,000 salary, and at the max 12 years of school. Please reccomend any type of Specialist you think would be good, or any advice... Thank you so much...
