It will have a television and other A/V components on it, which will be moved around occasionally I'm sure. So it will need to be very durable and scratch resistant. The surface will be made of oak-veneered plywood. I've been using Varathane's water-based polyurethane for other projects lately, but is there something else which would be more durable for this particular application?
