Bought a DT80 engine which turns out to be a GT80 engine which fits straight on to a DT50 frame same bolts etc looks nearly the same , What Type of carb will fit a GT80 engine?????? the inlet stub reed valve Assembly has a 20mm opening for a carb!! to be fitted over with a carburettor mouth seal and poss an insulating ring (Tiekei carb) then a clamp on carb, just temp i have pushed on a teikei Y14P carb of a DT50 MX with a k&N style filter to test the engine, starts 1st kick ticks over fine, have fitted an 80 spec exhaust, everything on the engine seems the same as a DT50/80 just need to find out the which is the correct carb to use?
