What type of camera is the best for me?

I really want to buy a new camera, because I've used Olympus FE- 5000 and it's not good enough for me now. I would like to buy a nice camera not profesional and not very expensive (max. about £300-500). It's my hobby taking photos and I like to take pictures of everything (seaside, countryside, indoors, people, snapshots...etc) so I trying to find flexible camera for me...
I tried to do some research on internet but there is huge range of cameras and i'm really struggling.
