I would use it everyday to go to university and to get to other places to play football. I am currently using a bike that is like 15 years old, so am looking for something lighter and faster. I probably travel around 1-3 miles a day.
I would like to go for a road bike, but a lot of them are very expensive and I though I would prefer not to have a really cheap basic bike, it wouldn't be reasonable for me to spend over £500.
Could you please tell me which places (or websites) are good for buying bikes and what I should particularly look out for?
