This may seem basic, but what are the bikes called that people ride across the United States on. The ones you can load down with a bunch of stuff. They are also used as commuter bikes. The ones I am looking for look a bit like hybrids, but have "straight-across" handlebars like mountain bikes. I want to look them up on Google to price them, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out what they are called.
What type of bicycle am I thinking of?
