I got a hav-a-hart 1025 squirrel trap and we have a black squirrel that I want to catch, not to kill just to look at it up close. I have tried peanut butter, peanut butter sandwiches, peanut butter carrots, regular carrots, captain crunch cereal and even bird seed sunflower mix and still can't catch anything. Not even gray squirrels! So what's a good squirrel bait that works?
Thats what i figured but sometimes I'll look outside and see all the squirrels around, basically next to the trap but they wont go into it.
