im 16 yrs old and about 5'7 130lbs.. ive been riding since i was 4. i only ride in GLAMIS,CA .im an experienced rider no doubt. i currently have a polaris predator 500 big bore kit with a yoshimura pipe.. its fast but not fast enough.. i keep up with all my friends barely and they have 2006+ yfz 450 and banshees.. they are not stock.. they all have some racing parts plus yoshi pipes and all that.but yet they always seem to have some sort of problems.. im currently looking for a job to help with the $$$.. so $ isnt that big of a deal.....
ANYWAYS: WHAT TYPE OF QUAD SHOULD I INVEST IN????
kawasaki 450 are pretty fast but pretty heavy also. there more of a fast and jumping bike.
suzuki 450r is one i really like. there wide, fast, good suspension, reliable, and easy to work on.
yamaha 450r is great but expensive and have kind of a lot of problems.
KTM 450 or 525 is the one i desire because its the fastest,best suspension,comfortable. all around great bike..
i was told by a friend of mine (amateur racer for kawasaki) " why buy an expensive quad (yamaha or ktm that are 9,000+) and just put a pipe on it, when you can buy a cheap but fast quad(kawasaki or suzuki that are 7500+) that you can put alot of $ into them and make them even fast then others..
