What transmission will fit my 1990 Ford F150?

I have a 1990 Ford F150 with the 4 speed auto with overdrive on the column, it is NOT the push button overdrive model, it is the kind that has overdrive built into the shifter so no electronic stuff.

I need a transmission for it and I keep reading about how bad the 4 speed auto tranny's in these trucks are so I decided to ask this.

What transmission is a direct swap ( or easily swapped ) in this 1990 Ford F150 with an automatic transmission, 302V8 and 4x4?
 
AND 4X4 , thats the thing.AOLD or was it ALOD.i didn't realize it was still used in '90.my '85 still running strong.have it rebuilt with a shift kit.but just because it slams into gear don't abuse it.4Xrepairs are expensive.
