M Matt New member Jan 13, 2010 #1 I have a 1978 Chevy Custom Deluxe with a 250 inline 6 and I am wanting a 4 gear Transmission. The one that is on there now is a 3 gear transmission. I was wondering if there is another transmission that would fit the engine.
